Théo Casciani HYSTERIA ◑ Creative direction

HYSTERIA is a video game prequel, created as part of the Regards du Louvre program; a mineral, more-than-human phantasmagoria that contibutes to one of the chapters in Maquette: Théo Casciani's forthcoming novel.

To imagine the monologue of an Ai sheltering in the Salles de Caryatides, we consulted the museum's archives, researched the genre of lamentation and started a conversation with Valentin Gillet, a visual prodigy generally inspired by the concept of consciaousness vis a vis technology

Maquette is a novel by Théo Casciani to be published by Éditions P.O.L., in the form of a cosmogony of the world after. The text examines the ways in which new models emerge, and how emotions resist virtual mutations. The writing is combined with a series of readings made up of as many episodes as there are chapters in the manuscript. Hijacking the usual codes and reinvesting the feuilleton system, these collaborative events aspire to put the text to the test of different eyes and sensibilities while it is still malleable, to connect a range of formats and contributions, and to use a variety of channels to install the climate of this fiction before its publication. The book will be the result of this adventure.
